I need a little guidance here - The M66 and M60 I recently bought had aftermarket springs installed to lighten both DA and SA trigger pull. The son of the owner did this for his father to make it easier for his aging hands to operate. He believes he used Wolff spring kits on them but it had been a while. Anyway I can probably live with the M66 but the M60 is another story. The DA pull is OK but the SA trigger pull is probably on the minus side of 2 lbs AND when shooting yesterday I had a couple FTFs due to light primer strikes. The M60 trigger is almost scary and this will be a often carried gun so I want to put this close to or back to normal. Now some one please educate me on S & W springs - I see the spring kits contain the main spring and the rebound slide spring. What would be my best 'direction' to bring this back to 'normal'? And I assume the rebound slide spring is what controls the SA trigger pull. Anyway a little spring education will be appreciated! Thanks.

Both springs on the model 60 need to be replace.

The rebound spring alters both DA and SA pulls so both will increase with this spring change

A correct mainspring should help correct your Failures to Fire

Give Smith and Wesson a call and order the springs.
