Mag Loader for Shield 9mm

If you have a solid flat surface to use then the UpLULA is awesome, if you have no such surface to work with the Caldwell Mag Charger works pretty good. If i load mags at home i can usually do it pretty fast with an UpLULA at a desk or table, If i go out shooting in the desert i almost never bring a table so the Caldwell Mag Charger is better. Just pick what works best for you, either one of these are good loaders or you can look around at other brands and types as well.

Another Uplula fan here. I have tried other mag loaders but the Uplula is, in my opinion, the easiest and will pay for itself many times over.

I will add my two cents to the UpLULA. Love mine and I think it is the best load assist tool out there. Just make sure you get the real thing and not a counterfeit. See this warning from the manufacturer.

"Counterfeit warning !
Low quality Chinese counterfeit loaders cloning our patented UpLULA™ universal pistol magazine loaders are offered for sale on Amazon, eBay, Wish and elsewhere. Please refrain from ordering there. If you suspect receiving a counterfeit loader, please take few pictures of packaging and loader and send it to [email protected]. We’ll let you know counterfeit or genuine.
Please shop at local gun stores you trust and from companies we ship to direct:
Academy, Brownells, MidwayUSA, Cabela’s, BassPro, XXXXXXXXX, Gander Outdoors, Turner’s, CheaperThanDirt, Sportsman’s Guide, ShopRuger.
Be cautious of counterfeits at weekend gun shows and markets. Some Chinese knockoffs are very similar to our own deceivingly having ‘UpLULA’ and ‘Made in Israel’ embedded in them and packed in blisters similar to ours."

If the price is an issue Hiljak makes some good loaders as well. I have several of their loaders and they work quite well at a lower price point.

Let us know what you go with and how you like it.

Yeah, Uplula is THE big name but personally, I'm not really impressed. Sorry about that.

I don't know about a Shield mag but my heavy gage steel loading tools that came with my Ruger SR9Cs work wonderfully on my M&P9 2.0 mags.

Sure you could order one from Ruger if you're interested and vastly less expensive. Don

Those Ruger loaders are great! The ones from Hilljak are similar only plastic.

I just use the free one that came with my Glock.

Is that wrong?

LOL

For the record, I like my M&P's better!

Makershot is better than nothing but nothing works as good as the Uplula.
