Just curious... To those who conceal carry an extra magazine, do you carry the mag in a pouch or holder? Do use IWB carry or OWB carry your mags?

Pics of your CC system would also be appreciated.

I posted this yesterday in another Thread. I carry a 9c in a IWB Crossbreed SuperTuck.

I daily carry a M&P9c and have tried all kinds of different mag holders. I found one from a fairly new company call "MagHolder". They are producing a horizontal mag carrier that I have found to be perfect for me. It has built in retention, slips over the belt easily, and makes reloading so much easier and faster for me. The magazine comes out of the holder easily and is in a perfect position for a speedy reload. I have used it every day now for the last 2 months without any issues. It's not that expensive and well worth giving a try. I am waiting for them to come out with one for my 45c, and will buy one as soon as it's available.

Why horizontal magazine holders? - MagHolder.com

Magholder for M&P pistols.

I carry my Shield OWB rh crossdraw, with mag pouch right behind.

I prefer OWB, one extra mag.

I noticed you have 8 round mags with the Pearce extensions. I've not see this combo before.

Do you find the spacers sliding down and affecting reloading?

And I have to ask, are your hands that big that you need the extra grip?

I put this in a different post...

I use SnagMag pocket magazine holders for my Shield, M&Pc, and M&P (3 different sized holders). These things are amazing, easy to use, and now I carry a spare mag everywhere I go.<br />

No problems with the spacers moving or causing any kind of problems. As far as my hands go, they aren't really big, but my fingers feel a bit cramped on the short mag. With my Shield being a 40, I feel I have better control with the extended mag, and is more comfortable to shoot that way. I actually carry with the extended since I have no problem concealing it, plus I get an extra round.

I was debating on trying the snagmag, but it seemed so over priced for such a minimalistic design and use of materials.

I've been using the Safariland horizontal Leatherman pouch for my 3913/14 7rd magazines for years...

They have a larger size for most magazines including double stack 15/17 rounders'.

They look a little like Iggy's except but with Velcro an not so pretty!!!! LOL

Yes, probably a bit overpriced, but since I got them I carry a spare mag everywhere. Before it was hit or miss. I use White Hat IWB, tuck the shirt in and slide the mag in my pocket. More than worth it to me.
