Magazine Ban Amendment Offered to Senate Cybersecurity Bill

Every politician on that sponsor list is a treasonous enemy of the Constitution.

In their convoluted thinking, they are "protecting us". Gun owners are some of the most law abiding people in the nation. We carry hoping we NEVER will have to pull our weapon. In my mind, it's just like the nations weapons reserve. Peace is obtained through the knowledge that if you (enemy) know I can defend myself, you are less likely to attack me or my family. Those that choose to ban guns most likely have never fired nor even handled one.

Thanks for posting this. Looks like I need to get my mags done ASAP before all this hard work goes to waste.

I seem to recall reading an article regarding magazine capacity restrictions from the Clinton era. In that article, Bill Ruger was said to be the person who suggested the 10 round capacity limit. I don't know how he convinced the legislators that 10 was a good number, but it was convenient for Ruger, as at that time, all Ruger firearms used 10 round or less magazines, even the 10-22. Hopefully someone here can confirm that my memory hasn't failed me.

Or maybe they need to introduce a bill about bows and arrows, restricting one's carrying and the amount of arrows one can carry and fire:

Proof that it's not about the weapon, it's about the will of an individual.

But hey, why stop there? Introduce a bill restricting the amount of fuel one can have for one's automobile? After all, the number of innocent lives saved with that law would be staggering, to include the mideast supply and demand issues.
