Magazine compatibility

My home state is the once great state of Colorado. It has since degraded into a Liberal cesspool with the administration trying their best to catch up to California.

I am interested in the M&P 15, but of course have to have it configured with a 10 round Mag. If, by chance, a person happened to have on hand pre-regulation full capacity Mags, is there anything in the design of the rifle that would preclude the use of such magazines?
