Magazine Disassembly & Cleaning

Another newbie question: How often do most folks disassemble their mags and clean them?

One more newbie question: Why are the magazine springs on the M&P's so doggone stiff?

I went the range from work a few days ago and forgot my Uplula. Hand loading 100 rounds and my thumb was black & blue.

any time I clean my gun. I clean every time I shoot and also once a week if I have been carrying it every day, regardless of if I shot it or not.

Springs are actually not as stiff as some others I've experenced before

Jeff: guess that means you can't forget your Uplulu. Buy two, put one in your gun box.

I haven't even got my guns yet, but have a 9mm M&P 17-round magazine and some ammunition. I had a nightmare loading that thing. Picked up the Maglula and I LOVE IT. Got the baby one for the .22 LR/.380 as well.

I've run about 1500 rounds through my m&p9 since purchase and haven't cleaned the mags once. Never a problem. I'll probably let them go another 1500 rounds before I even think about it.

And uplula.... as the kids say... is full of win.
