Anyone have any experience with mag extenders for the Bodyguard? I've seen one by Impact guns that lengthens the stock mag to accept one additional round and provides a pinky rest, and another by Mag guts that basically replaces the spring to allow for the 7th. Pros? Cons? Thoughts?

I have two mags with the MagGuts conversion, both have given me trouble free operation.

Magazine Extenders for M&P Bodyguard

I ran another 100 rounds through my two converted mags today. [emoji106][emoji106]

I have the magguts conversion also in only one magazine but my first adventure with it was anything but fun , at the range with that mag it didnt lock the slide back after empty , the 2nd and 3rd time tried it i was having failures to feed and jams after the first round . After i got home i took the mag apart and made sure everything was right , and it was , so a friend suggested i try swapping the magguts into another magazine before i throw it out , so i did and it worked like it`s supposed to now ,, i just wish my new bodyguard would work like it`s supposed to as its still plagued with lite strikes ,,,

Did the mag you had problems with work in its factory configuration?

I have rather large hands and I'm using a galloway extender. It doesn't give anotber round but does give me better control.

Yep , it worked fine in original condition , although when comparing the 2 magazine tubes the troubled one did look a little more "tapered" at the top than what the other one did on a side by side comparison , but to look at them assembled i couldnt see any differences between them .

The two mags that I converted were new never had a round in them before the conversion.
They have ran flawlessly.
