Magazine interchangeability?

I recently picked up a super clean 3914, which came with two mags.

What mags interchange? All single stack 39xx series?

To my knowledge, yes. The 39 and 3906 mags will stick out of the end of your 3914 (or my 3913) but they will work. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't know about 39 magazines, but 3904/06 magazines will work as Nico describes. The 390x guns are full size single stack guns, while the 391x/395x guns are compact single stack guns.

Any 8 round 391x or 395x magazine will work. The early (non rail) 3913TSW/3953TSW 7 round magazines will not work because they will be too short.

Compact magazines seem to be a bit scarce right now and prices are high for what is out there. Ebay usually has them, but at high end prices. Climags sometimes has new and used ones.

Midway and Gunclipdepot are both sold out.....Hmmmmm

The two that came with it are functional, but I always like to have at leat 4 mags per....
Not a fan of Promag either.

Either way, it's not like I don't have any. Ordered new mag springs for both.

Cliffsgunsmithing.com has 3914 mags for $41.00. I've ordered CS9 mags from him in the past. Great service and quick.
