i have a M&P 9 Compact used for everyday carry. I've found suitable holsters, but now i'd like suggestions/reviews on what mag pouch is best for comfort and concealability. i need owb because i'm big enough that iwb components are uncomfortable for me. thanks in advance for your advice.

I got a ballistic nylon mag holder with a Velcro flap. The belt loop is attached at the corners, allowing for horizontal or vertical orientation on your belt. The adjustable flap allows for secure carry of any single or double stack mag.

Saw a good one at Wally World for five bucks.

The horizontal orientation of carry is the most unobtrusive for me.

Comp-Tac, is probably my favorite. The IWB mag holder is soft, so using it for training/practice is out, but it stays put on my belt (doesn't rotate) and is very concealable. I like Crossbreed's hybrid mag holder better, but it always seems to rotate on my belt, which is super annoying to me.

I got a leather knife sheath for my M&P .380 mags. It just looks like I'm carrying a knife on my belt.

I have both a leather and a kydex mag holder like the kydex better with a clip on the back then the leather one with a belt loop ..

Can't remember where I picked it up though .. i

thanks for the responses guys, which is preferred more, the clips or the beltloops for retention of the pouch?
