Went to a local shop to browse. He had a bin on the floor with various mags for $10 apiece. Picked up two 5906 fifteen round mags and an eight round mag for a 2213!!
Guess it just was my lucky day!

Good score. I had a similar experience with SS 39xx mags. Shop had 7 8rd mags in bags on a peg at $11 each. Empty peg...

I feel lucky when I find a 3913 Mag. forum member kindly sold me some good ones a few years back, but you never really have enough second or third gen magazines.

However a while back while away at a small town with the War Dept I stopped at a small gunshop and found these two 4006 mags just after buying my 4026. I remember seeing some single stack mags there too but wasnt really interested at the time.
Fast forward a year and I now have a 3914 from a Forum member, and a good excuse to go back. Would you believe the mags were still there?
I don't recall exact prices but they seemed pretty reasonable, though nowhere near your enviable price.
Added: I think she might be wondering why we end up overnighting there so often...

So jealous of you. Just got a 2213 and trying to find the 8 round mags is proving to be a difficult task.

Nice find. I love to hunt in a new to me used S&W Mag Bin. Most of the gun show sellers here see me coming and say they have "nothing new" from last time before i look.

Oh - I figured when you posted "Magazine Score" you might have gotten the first edition of Playboy with Marylin on the cover - LOL!!
When I bought my 4506 a month ago, the gun shop owner also sold me 7 or 8 more factory S&W 4506 mags with it for $15 each.

My FFL has a box of loose mags. He calls it "the box of shame" because they're from guns going to communist states, i.e. 10rd capacity.
