Magazines for 2.0 shield?

Does the shield and the 2.0 shield use the same magazine?

I am wanting to buy a 2.0 shield in a .45, they come with a 6 rd and a 7rd. Why, I do not know, why not 2-7's? I thought I would buy an additional 7 rd with the extension, fits my hand better than the 6rd. But I can't find any 7 rd's for sale specifically for the shield 2.0.

Same mags. 2.0 is just texture and a slightly different trigger. I didn't even know they came out with a Shield 2.0 in .45. The Shield .45 hit as the 2.0 was beginning to roll out I think. I know the 1.0 .45 Shield had the same aggressive texturing as the 2.0's do.

I would guess that they offer a 6 round mag for those who want to conceal carry.

All Shield 45s are "2.0" . The 45 was a late introduction so all have 2.0 features. Magazines interchange in all like caliber Shields. I carry my 45 Shield with the 6 round to keep the silhouette small and carry the 7s as spares.
