Magic Red-Dot optical illusion.

Talking to my Son-in-law about my new Red-Dot optic (my first one), and I commented about how well it works with both eyes open.

He agrees, then says it will work that way even leaving the front glass covered. Sho'nuff, he was right. Works the same with the front cover on. Go figure.

So long as your brain is able to produce properly merged binocular vision from your eyes, yes, that will work. Some of us don't operate quite that way.

On some of them, if you're shooting in the rain, there will be as many red dots to choose from as there are water droplets on the lens. This does not lead to a good score in the match...
