Magnifier Question

Gentlemen,

I recently purchased a Eotech XPS 3 and wanted to know if I should use this with a magnifier? I only plan on shooting at an indoor range and occasionally outdoors with the maximum distance around 50 yards. My questions are:

1) Is it even worth it to put a magnifier on?

2) Does the magnifier go in front of the Eotech or behind the Eotech? (I'm new )

Any insight would be greatly appreciated and I plan on posting updated pictures soon.

Oh one other thing, what type of slings and mounts are you guys using? Any info and pics would be appreciated. I'm not looking to break the bank either since the wife has been pretty pissed about the Eotech purchase!

I have zero experience with EOTech and magnifiers. But as far as the sling goes, I went this route and love it, hope it helps:

1: It's not needed, but it's nice to shoot 50yards with a small magnification (3x or 5x, 3 should be enough).

2: The magnifier goes between your eye and the EOtech.

I got a Rambo (dont laugh) magnifier from ebay for about $50,00 it's a 5x magnifier with a twist-off mount. The last thing is kinda easy as the baseplate is still attached to the gun and you can remove the magnifier without having to fiddle to put it in the same position as before.

Slings I have no experience with.
