Title says it all. Wondering if anyone has put one on, and any feedback. Thanks

Right out of the bag, no. But you can get it to work. You need to place it in a vice and bend it a little to get it to work. I think its worth it

Go for it - definitely needs a good 2 or 3 bends to get it to work with the 15-22, but it'll all become clear when you offer up the BAD lever to the side of the gun. I was a bit worried about bending anodised aluminium without making a hash of it, but with the help of my fiancee's kitchen blow torch it was no problem. That and some Birchwood Casey flat black pen to touch up working marks :)

Main issue once you make the obvious reverse long bend is to make sure that the BAD clears the mag release mechanism so that dropping an empty mag doesn't throw the bolt forward.

Someone is planning to sell one for the M&P on this forum, do some searching for it. I own two for my full size AR15s, but I don't want to heat up and bend a third one since heating up the metal weakens it if not anealed correctly.. That would be a $27 and some change paper weight.

So I finally got around to trying this out. Bent up fine with minimal marring. (taped it up before "persuading" it to fit) That being said how did everyone clear it for the mag release? I'm assuming it was just dremeled for clearance.

Aside from that it works well and I'm liking the function.

No dremeling - just bent the BAD out a little further from underneath the paddle, so that it clears the mag release when the bolt is locked back. Remember that the mag release doesn't need to be fully depressed to function, so no need to have it sit too far away from the receiver.

I deleted the original post after I realized the eBay price included free shipping for a few days. That probably accounts for the price difference.

I'm waiting for Paul from NDZ to tell me the redesigned SBRs are in and then I'll give it a try. They are only about 20 minutes or so down the road from me - but you probably already know that. :)

yup i received an email from him last week that they were testing them and would probably know something by this weekend.

So now I'm interested/confused. I saw the eBay listing and it's for the NDZ product. What is the "new/redesigned" version?

I already bought a magpul version for a decent price but wondering if I should be planning on buying a "new" version from NDZ.

The "new" version is going to be somewhat lighter - 5 gms v 8 gms. I don't know if the shape/bends will be changed or not.

they had issues with the first version causing some 15-22s to not hold the bolt open after the last round. apparently it really depends on the magazine spring but they're working on the weight of the sbr to try and make it work all the time.

If they skeletonize the care portion like I did on mine it will reduce the weight and save stability. The arm needs to be as light as possible.
