magpul foilage green

Freebe that comes with rifle maybe it could be sold to recoupe some of the moe rifle cost. But moe only comes in Black and Flat Dark Earth. I have the moe and it was cheaper to buy it that way then to add everything moe I like Black. Could recoupe some cost by selling what is taken of the original rifle also to pay for moe parts.
The Art of the Tactical Carbine CARBINE

Sir, I could be wrong but I look at them as cars, you put money into a car and fix it up, even make it nicer than factory. Unless you get that one particular buyer you never seem to recoup your costs out of them. In the case of the rifles, unless you get lucky enough to sell the extra parts or find that one particular buyer it is going to be tough to recoup your expenses. I see take off parts on eBay all the time, they dont bring a lot of money. So therefore the spare parts box lives, thrives and gives you great trading material. :D

I understand that everyone is different everyone wants their own personlized weapon no mater what it is. I use to customize my own vehicle years ago but as per the OP he was stating of adding Magpul parts just wanted him to know of his options that it maybe cheaper to just go ahead and buy the MOE

Back on topic here, I happen to like the flat dark earth myself. Mine is all black but that would be my next choice.

Duracoat rocks I have a couple of rifles duracoated, I just recently was reading about cerrakote and my Dad took a rifle down to be cerrakoted, but as far as funiture DuraCoat or even some of the newer krylon paints work real well. as the pictures show, I may have painted one or two parts. LOL

Now I'm leaning more toward all black. I like the appeal of an all black rifle too. :)

There is nothing wrong with all black. I have more than one rifle and there is a "black stallion" in the stables.

But, after a while, a boomstick of a different color is a nice change.

BTW: Cerakote is wicked stuff. I had my Rem 870 refinished with it and stuck a police magnum metal trigger in it. 1000rds later, its still the same finish.

I have FOL.. but wishing I just stuck with black.
