Magpul Mag well grip

Does anyone know if the Magpul mag well grip fits the 15-22? I wanted to add one to my 15-22 to make it look like my 15T.

Magpul doesn't make a Mag Well Grip. However, the 15-22 is ever so slightly wider than a basic AR-15... so something that is formed to fit would more than likely need some "tweaking" to make it fit properly.

I don't think magpul makes a mag well grip. Mako/FAB defense makes one. It doesn't fit out of the box, but will fit with a bit a work

I suspect the same would be true of any mag well grip made for an AR15/M4 - would need a bit of work to have it fit the 15-22.

I'm sorry. It was a Mako mag grip. I typed incorrectly. Thanks for the response. Sounds like I'll have to do a little work...

all I can say is get ready to Dremel it like crazy. It will fit but takes a good amount of dremeling on the inside of the Mako Mag grip. I did 2 of them.

Yep, another member at my club put a Mako mag well grip on his 15-22.

Can be done, but definitely not plug & play!
