Magpul MIAD grip

My first mod was to make the grip bigger so I got the MIAD grip since it has several different front and backstrap options. Unfortunately, the set up with largest rear backstrap doesn't have an area for the rear takedown pin detent spring to seat so the takedown pin can fall out Anyway, I had some silicone car gasket sheets laying around and I just cut out a gasket for the spring to seat on. With that I gotta give the new grip a huge thumbs up! If you have larger hands check it out, it's a great grip.

Yes, where as a Ergo grip fits perfectly snug on the 15 22.

If you want to use the Miad grip you also need to buy the grip wedge that Magpul makes. It gives the detent spring a seat and also fills in the gap.

I just sent them an eamil and asked them if it would work to fill the gap on an MOE grip.

Yep, that's the one! But I don't know if it will work with the MOE.

I sent Magpul an email and asked. Not sure how they are about responding though.

I purchased it, since it was only a couple of dollars, and tried it with the moe and was not successful with it. I did however cut it down to use it with the moe. I can post a pic later. Someone else might of had been able to, just didn't work for me.

Wow, thought no one was interested then bam! Cool, I didn't even know about that wedge, looks nice but I'm goin broke feeding my guns so home-made parts it is, lol
