PROBABLY DUMB QUESTION,BUT WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAGPUL GEN 1 AND GEN 2 SIGHTS

Gen 2s are a little bit thinner and sit lower on the rails. Functionally they are exactly the same.

i know i've answered this before. the g2 allows you to fold down both apertures on the rear for use with a scope.
