When I hit the mag release button I actually have to give the mag a little pull. Not really a big deal, I like it for the range, but I am going to be shooting in some tactical matches and would like the mags to drop out for faster reloads. How do ya'lls come out? I have shot ~750 rounds and use 3 mags, will it loosen up over time?

No need to wait. Look at the drag marks on the side of your mags.
Those are your interference points. Just take some sand paper and remove just a lil plastic in those areas. Only relieve what you need to. Dont use any lube to try and correct it and dont touch the lower, just the scuff marks on the mags. They will then be drop free, which is just what you want.
Note, some mags will stick, some will not.

Also, make sure you are completely depressing the mag release.

Are you using S&W mags or third-party?

Good idea. I will take a look at the mags in the am.

Off hand, I am 99% I am depressing it all the way. I will experiment with this tomorrow when inspecting the mags. The mags are all S&W.

apologize for two posts, multi quote is not working for me

i am having the same problem. i searched and came across this thread.

i have 3 10-round mags. one of them gets stuck. the other 2, including my 25-rounders drop easily.

using lager's advice, i tried hitting the areas where i see drag marks, but it still doesn't drop. i admit i was nervous and didn't want to take off too much material accidentally.

is there an area these are known to get stuck at so i know where to concentrate? (there are drag marks all over the place on all the mags) thanks.

Check the back of the magazine. Mine was splitting open and causing extra friction with the mag well.

thanks. the back on mine seems fine. were you able to fix yours? or did you just toss it?

i tried sanding around the magazine again. still won't come out with the button. i am afraid if i sand blindly, it may affect the function of the magazine.

I noticed it before I left the shop so I got a replacement. Others have said they have fixed theirs.

To find where it is binding get a coloured marker pen and cover the top of the magazine. (or spray it with cheap spray paint) and it will rub the colour off where it binds the next time you put it in and out.

Then sand those areas.

(Don't go too heavy on the colour though)

Wipe the inside of the mag well with rag with A little CLP on it. Same with the upper section of the magazine.

I just did this and worked wonders. Never realized my mags were sticking a bit also. Might have gotten some paint in the magwell when I painted my lower.

that definitely made a difference! it is a LOT easier for the mag to come out now. however, it still won't come out with the push of the button.

the other mags come out even easier than before though. so that is good. :) i didn't realize the magwell was dirty. it didn't seem like it was.

it is definitely rubbing somewhere on my problem magazine.

You may need to adjust the mag release, mine was incorrectly adjusted from the factory. 1-turn and it was perfect and mags drop free. I do also CLP the mag well and wipe over my mags.
