Bought this yesterday but didn't notice the +P until I got home. Is it ok to shoot thru a Walther PPK S?

I have tried +P and Double Tap in My PPK/S and could never go through a magazine without a failure to feed. They did not "feel right" upon discharge in the pistol either. I have never had any problems with standard pressure ammo in either hollow point or full jacket. I do not know why, I just know that the higher tuned loads do not work in my Walther. I suspect the blow-back design may have something to do with it but in any event, it was a mismatch. I hope this helps.

I would be alarmed that it said "Magtech", I've had bad experiences there. These days I'm not sure if I would chance it again or not.

There's only 1 way to find out if the +P will be ok, but that's iffy also.

Thanks for the warnings folks. I guess it's just Blazer Brass for now since I can't find any JHP around here.

It is the S&W version back from the recall repair. I've only shot 50 rounds of Blazers though.

Sent an e-mail to customer service at Walther yesterday asking the same question. Got a reply this morning stating that it is ok to shoot 85 grain +P jhp thru my PPK/S.
