Maintenance Schedule?

I have an SD9VE and am wondering, is there a recommended schedule of maintenance other than routine cleaning/care? Say, every 2,000 rounds or so, do this or do that (or have your neighborhood qualified gunsmith do so)? I have other handguns that do but my S&W manual makes no mention of such a schedule unless I just read over that part.

Not that I'm aware of. Some folks like to change out the recoil spring assemby at that round count.
As I will be installing the Apex SD spring kit, should arrive tomorrow, I noticed how few parts there are in the frame.
