major difference in 45 models

Im looking at the m&p 45 series pistols and I was told that the medium frame and the compact frame were pretty much the same size. I was told there was no point in getting the compact version because it wasn't much smaller than the medium frame. It supposedly is as easy to conceal as the medium frame. Comments and opinions are welcomed. Thank you.

Love my mid size MP45. Was carrying the Glock 21 gen 4 and switched to the M&P45 and never looked back. Shoots great and very accurate. Not one hickup after 1200 rounds. Feeds everything. Carry it daily with Speer Gold Dot 185gr. You wont go wrong with any of them. I am thinking of picking up the compact one for smaller carry situations. Enjoy and be safe.

the size difference in the 45c AND the 45 mid is in the grip. the 45c has a 8 rnd mag the 45 mid has a 10 rnd mag. the difference is about 1/2" . i had the 45c traded that for the 45 mid and couldnt be happier. you get 2 extra rnds without adding much to its size.
I can conceal the 45 mid just as easy as the 45c.

I have the 45C and one option if you want 10 rounds is to use a full size mag. Xgrip makes an adapter to fill the space between the grip and the mag floor plate on the 9C and 40C, and should be coming out with the 45C version now. One problem I have when carrying semi autos is the grip feels like it really sticks out to me as I have been primarily a revolver guy. I don't have this issue with my 9C or 45C. I have also been moving the position of the holster around and playing with the cant to help with this. Hope that's useful.
