MAKER MARKS AND HISTORY

Oscarflytyer.... We lost our photos here on the forum when Photobucket kidnapped them and are holding them for ransom. I am trying to find the ones that I had posted in #12 above, and will replace them. Keep checking back....

Edit....Pics of a Eubanks for the Colt 1903 .32 are up again in post #12....with the maker's mark ....you will see that mine is marked 89 and 32A as you say yours is. I would venture to say that it would fit your 1903 just as you see mine in post #12 citing in my older version.

Best Regards, Les

Everyone's happy but -- I'm suspicious about the fitment for two reasons: the snapped up strap is noticeably loose, in an era when that just wasn't done; and on the backside is a bulge of leather at the top of the welt that might serve a purpose on a revolver but is actually in the way on an auto.

Just do be a party-pooper.

By default, I guess the style 820 is my favorite. Right to Left : 820/K22, 820/45, 820/MP, 820/380.

I'm sure you can replace that strap yourself Les. I have replaced them,
and if I can, anyone can. The only difficulty is putting the snap cap on
the replacement strap. First one I did, I went to the Tandy shop. They
sent me to the saddle shop that I have used ever since. An older used
piece of bridle strap will look better than a new strap. And you can
tighten it up and make the party pooper happy.

I have good pics, but no hosting service. Any other way to post pics? Or can someone post them for me?

I don't have a 32 Colt. Got this one in an auction and trying to determine what it is exactly, what it will fit and what it is worth. Thanx

Way back on February 16, 2016 I posted a thread called
HELP WANTED. I got a lot of good advice, and since then
I have posted so many photos that other members are
probably sick of seeing my posts.

Go up to the top line, click on Search. Try HELP WANTED,
or HOW TO POST PHOTOS. I don't use a server. I go direct
from my laptop to the forum. So many members had so many
beautiful photos that are now being held hostage for ransom.
Sad.

I'm sure you will find many members who are very helpful
and generous with their advice. We will look forward to
seeing your photos.

Photos of the holster I have

db is very good at telling what gun will fit and he said Llama.
.32 automatic. I'll go along with that.
Prices are not as high as the big 3, but yours looks like a nice
one. I will guess an auction might bring you something between
50 and 100, but remember I said might.

Thanx! Appreciate the help.

But, I give up! Who are the Big Three? Assume Heiser is one/#1?!?

So update. Gun in the holster is actually a German Walther PP 32. And about 2 months after this pic, it was offered to me for sale (fortunately before I sold the holster!). So now I have a perfect match! Very happy!
