Do you get all those scam emails like I do?
I get dozens some days.

Finally somebody is making it right!
It was tough deleting them all these years, but this $950,000 is going to ease that pain.....

Are there some idiots who actually fall for this stuff?

Note that they "We found your name in our list" but they DON'T begin the email with my name.......

Well, there you go! Your problems are over and you should have at least enough cash to fund the S&W Forum for maybe, what, 3-4 months? :D

It is real, I already got my bank draft.

I thought it was a little cheesy I had to pay the courier out of my pocket, and $5,000 was a little high, but he did fly here from Africa.

I just signed the papers on a new Ferrari, pick it up Friday! WOOHOO!

"Making the world a better place"... for them.

I don't mind the emails as much as the phone calls I get from Rachael at Cardholder Services. I've probably received 500 in the last year. Would I like to meet her!

Uh-oh,
that may be a scam. Note that they are going to mail mine. But, if a guy shows up with it, I'll buy him a steak!
:D

I don't know what's worse.

The stupid scams that only a sucker should fall into them...

OR

The suckers that fall into the stupid scams.

I'm all for protecting the public from danger, but at some point the public really needs to grow up and stop being such an easy mark for the latest shell game.

The way I figure it, with all the money I have available to me in Africa simply by answering all the e-mails I get, I can buy both Warren Buffet and Bill Gates.

Didn't get the email.
But, I took a purty good whippin on a Colt revolver here a while back,
that may have been owned by that same outfit sumtime in the past...

Were do I pick-up my check? I wouldn't want it gettin hung-up or lost in the mail.

Or cash is alright by me.:D

Su Amigo,
Dave

I always want to play along for the fun of it. I've dealt with scam artists before in investigations, and it's kinda fun.:D
Missus P&R Fan won't let me though.
I never have ANY fun!

I have my guitar listed for sale on Craigslist and I've received a bunch of emails from obvious scammers. I play along and when they ask for my address so that their "official representative" can deliver a check and pick up the guitar, I give them the address of the local police station. I never hear from them again.

I still get an occasional African scam once in a while. I never get any of the "male enhancement" emails anymore, guess they sold out.

IIRC correctly I got my kncuckles rapped (and rightfully so. I hadn't actually looked at the site for some time. OOPS!:o) for posting a link to somebody who HAS been doing something for about 10 years or so. ;)

Finally..we are getting aid from Africa...and not the plural one either!!!!

Sip,

That is so not right.

If the first words were "Dear Friend", that would immediately make me suspicious and make me want to scroll down and see who signed it. I might or might not then read the message.

I'm sorry Lee, I'm the one who gave Georgette, or as I like to call her, Georgie, your name & contact info.
I figured that you, of all people, should be taken care of.

When I told Georgie that you ran a web-site that, without doubt, makes this world a better place she said that she would work tirelessly on your behalf to repay you for your service to mankind.

I hope you are proud of yourself, the way you've treated her....
