That is an extremely unfair remark! In such a scenario blind/handicapped workers are far more likely to "get it right" than sighted/capable workers!

Back in the late 1970's my mom worked for an organization known as Lighthouse For The Blind. They hired disabled people to do various tasks. She gave me one of their projects which was a fishing lure. It was a good sized plug, made of clear plastic and had a blinking red LED inside powered by a coin cell battery. I seem to recall it was called a "Bionic Lure" or something like that.
It would have been interesting to see if it caught any fish. But it failed the swimming pool test when on around the third cast the O ring failed and it shorted out. That was the end of that experiment.

When I worked in the FD at the Airport in Baltimore they had a crew of handicapped workers that cleaned the terminal every night completely with another smaller crew that cared for all the restrooms during the day. Not a big deal...they actually did a pretty fair job. Their supervisor who checked their work at night...was totally blind. uuummmm was always baffled by that. I dated a blind gal for about a year and learned alot from her about the blind...they are not easily fooled. That gal WAS crazy though...another redhead!
