Here is the scenario, you be the Judge.
9:02am 8-11 - manny25 lists 640 no dash - no pictures $425 asking price.
12:12pm 8-11 - I reply to his post "I'll take it" on good faith as there are no pics.
12:15pm 8-11 - I send PM confirming - "I'll take it" and requesting payment info.
1:30pm 8-11 - manny25 answers my PM to state there are now pictures posted.
1:32pm 8-11 - manny25 added pics to his ad stating "gun looks better in person, pics not that good".
11:56am 8-12 - I send 2nd PM requesting payment info.
8:30pm 8-12 - manny25 PM's me "sorry, gun sold locally"
Question? Was this pistol ever really for sale here on the forum? I clearly stated that I would take the pistol at his asking price 3 hours and 10 minutes after he went to the trouble of listing it. PM's were sent and responded to and 1 hr and 20 min after I said I would take it, he posted pictures and PM'd me they were there so I could see it.
It would appear that he had second thoughts on his asking price and either kept the pistol, or found a buyer at a higher price after I had already claimed the pistol at "his" asking price without any haggling on my part.
Just a heads up that an "I'll take it" in good faith with manny25 doesn't necessarily mean that you bought something.
