I've inherited two S&W revolvers. Each has an original box, tool kit, paper work and one still has the original sticker price on the box. Both have matching grips to the revolver. I'm looking for the year they were made an approximate value for California.

Thank you in advance.

Model 10-6
4 Inch Bull Barrel
(2) sets of extra grips
D85849
Original Box w/Matching Serial numbers to the revolver
Extremely clean. No marks or blemishes on wood or metal
Original sticker price on box $119.50

Model 15-3
4 Inch Barrel
(2) sets of extra grips
7K0936
Original Box w/Matching Serial numbers to the revolver
Extremely clean. No marks on wood. Slightest small wear mark on end of barrel. Maybe about 1/16th of an inch if that.

The 10-6 is a 1968 gun
The 15-3 is a 1974 gun

California prices?! Bwahahaha I am not qualified.

I think most folks would spend up to $600 or $650 for either. Put them on Gunbroker yourself and $700-$750. Give them to a well known consignment seller on Gunbroker and they sell for more, but the seller takes his fee.

No clue how California corrupts things compared to free America.

Both would be a little steeper around here, if you found them in a LGS. Call it the $700-$750 range (transfer fee included - which is $60-$75 here because of state paperwork.)
