Mark lll 4x32 Scope or the Mark lll 3x9x42

that is how i am leaning too. how much reach do you get? was eye relief a big concern? i see there is a one inch difference. not sure of that is a lot or not. is eye relief mainly for recoil only?

i don't have an issue with the eye releif but it is a 22, I might not want that on a big caliber rifle.

its a great scope but i definately not putting it on my 50.. i like my eyes where they r.... but works great on my 15-22

lol. i guess that answers my question on "eye relief". i saw one with a built in laser on the side. i may consider it.

In theory it sure should, by allowing more light in. But without head to head real world testing.. Who knows! The larger the glass the more expensive and hard it is to manufacture.
