Of all those those fights, I look forward to the Torres/Bowles match the most.

The top 5 fights from all the August MMA events are, in my opinion, the following (no particular order):

Fedor Emelianenko vs. Josh Barnett (Affliction)

Fedor is 30-1, has been ranked the No. 1 Heavyweight in the world for a long time, and has been a top pound-for-pound fighter and all-time MMA great.

Josh Barnett is a former UFC champ and is ranked No. 2 in the world at Heavyweight. He has been taking out everyone put in front of him.

BJ Penn Vs. Kenny Florian

This should be a war. BJ better train harder than he has ever trained. Florian has cleaned out the division on his way to a 2nd UFC Lightweight title shot.

Anderson Silva Vs. Forrest Griffin

Dana White wanted to give Silva a real challenge. Silva said he did not feel challenged in his last two fights. Anderson will need to put the fists of fury on Forrest.

Miguel Angel Torres Vs. Brian Bowles

Bowles is an undefeated fighter who has earned his title shot. He will need to put on the fight of his career to take the strap from the top ranked 135 lbs fighter in the world.

Nate Marquardt Vs. Demian Maia

The winner of this fight gets to fight Anderson Silva for the Middleweight title.

Those ought to be 3 flippin great fights.

"AM, can you give your opinion on the two females?" SW CQB 45

Glad to. This fight is beauty vs. beast. The overwhelming crowd favorite will be Gina. She is a good looking lady. Cyborg may not have Gina's eye pleasing looks, but she is a very aggressive fighter.

Gina is 7-0. 3 wins by (T)KOs (42.86 %), 1 win by submission (14.29 %), and 3 decisions
(42.86 %). Gina trains at X-Treme Couture under Randy Couture. Not sure you can train with anyone better.

Cyborg is 7-1. 5 wins by (T)KOs (71.43 %) and 2 Decisions (28.57 %).

I've only seen a few of their fights. Either could win. They are two of the best women MMA fighters in the world and they will be fighting for a title. I'll be rooting for Gina.

I have watched the last two Gina fights. Even though she wins, she gasses quickly and fights with determination.

I have only caught clips of Cyborg and she appears terminator like.

I think cardio is going to be the deciding factor unless someone gets a PUNCH in.

I want to see that one.
