Marlin model 60 22 RF

I have been offered a NIB model 60 22 and would like some opinions on the new ones. I had an older some years back that I liked fine but Marlin has some issues lately I think. Any feedback

They're just entry level .22 semiautos been a lot of them sold over the last
last 58 years. The only down side is the ejector is a little weak and bends easily, easy fix though if you know how.

My son has had one for years that I got for him when he was a
pre-teen. It loves HV ammo. Only problem I've noted over the
years is that it will jam if not cleaned in about 200 rounds. The
twin extractor grooves in the barrel fill up with GSR and have to be scraped out or cleaned. Other than that, its a great 22.- accurate and reliable.

Marlin sold tons of them. Most folks say they are great .22s but they were made at the old Marlin plant. Since Remington took Marlin over don't know if the quality is as good though. Heard complaints concerning the lever action centerfire line of guns as far as fit and overall finish.

IT WOULD DEPEND ON THE VINTAGE OF THE RIFLE, EVEN IF IT IS NIB.....

IS IT A NIB RIFLE FROM CURRENT PRODUCTION, OR A SPECIMEN FROM BEFORE MARLIN'S PURCHASE IN 2008, BY REMINGTON ARMS ? ? ?

PRE 2008, AT A GOOD PRICE, I WOULD BUY IT.....

I SHOT MARLIN LEVER GUNS IN MOST ALL CALIBERS FROM .22LR TO .45-70, FOR 60 YEARS. ALL WERE SUPERBLY ACCURATE, AND ALL WERE MADE PRIOR TO 2008.....

I have a 60 made after the takeover. It's much more accurate than my old 60 built in the early 90's. But the old one will go forever without needing to be cleaned. The new one has to be cleaned a lot or it will jam. Go figure.
