New Jersey shooting: 20 injured and one suspect dead at 'massive crime scene' at arts festival

"At least 20 people have been hurt and one suspected shooter killed, after gunfire broke out at an all-night art festival in New Jersey.

A total of 16 of the 20 injured were treated for gunshot injured and four of those hurt - among them a 13-year-old boy - were in a critical condition, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri."

The shootings happened in an area of town that I wouldn't be caught dead in past sundown. The fact it was an all-night art show just proves how ignorant the city was I allowing it to happen. I wouldn't expect extended coverage by the mass media as it really is just another shooting like you see in Chicago, Baltimore, St. Louis and other urban inner city high crime areas. It has little to do with guns and more to do with how people act.

Mine said sundown. And I found you were generally in bed shortly thereafter when you had to be up an hour before sunrise to milk, then work sun up to sundown in the fields. Some call those the good old days—I don’t miss them a bit! But that lifestyle would end 95% of crime in America in a week.

WOW! You mean to tell me with all the strict N.J. gun laws they still had a shooting happen there? Yep laws don't protect/help anyone but criminals. Like they say laws were made to be broken and it isn't law abiding gun owners breaking the laws.

Typical shooting scenario where the shooter kills himself. Gee I wonder what psychotic prescription drugs was this shooter on? Was this shooter investigated by the FBI not long ago but deemed to be no threat to society?

It's a shame so many people have to die so the anti gun nuts can trash the 2nd Amendment. Look at most shootings and anti gun demonstrations and most have the mistakes of a class "B" movie. The script gets rewritten after the curtain went down. Funny how mass media rewrites what happened as people notice the fallacies of the story told.

Such a shame so many lives have been once again shattered. It's about time people realize there is a need to protect people and making more laws or taking away innocent law abiding gun owners guns isn't the answer. But I have no doubt they already know that. That doesn't help their agenda to disarm the people.

Unbelievable how "shall not infringe" is being infringed on. The 2nd was written to protect us from what is going on right now. Think for a moment who is behind the gun violence and for what purpose.

I have noticed two gas stations near me that have no guns posters 30.06 and 30.07 at their doors. That makes two gas stations I will not be using ever again.
