25 the anniversary match. August 5, 6, & 7. Just a month away. This is the match originally devised by Roy Jinks, and Dick Metcalf with Tommy Campbell. Held in the little community of Barry, IL at the Pike Adams Sportsman's Alliance range.

Three gun: .22RF Precision 45 biathlon targets at 25 & 50 meters under varying time constraints. Action; 45 steel targets from the holster. 3 different sets 5 target arrays, each shot 3 times. Total time is score. Long Range: 45 steel targets from 100 to 200 meters. Shot under time constraints and varying distances.

This is a down home friendly match, with some pay back and merchandise prizes. It is one of the most challenging match's you can ever shoot.

Most of the top shooters in the country have shot it several times. Doug Koenig is current Champion and will return to shoot again this year.

If you're interested, I could get you information and match director contact.

Howdy,

Hi H Richard,
I'll be up there. I have shot six or seven of them.
It is a good time and some of the best people to be found.
It has always been a place where you can walk in and drop your gear and wander away and not worry about it.
Larry and Lee put on a great match and I hope the anniversary stirs up some interest.
Also, there is now a production and revolver class.
Come on up everyone!
Thanks
Mike

Be sure and look me up. I'm the scheduling control for Action & Precision you have checked in with before each match and told you when to go to the line. See you in a few weeks.

Dick

As a former chief rangemaster for The Masters, for the first several years , I can tell you that it is a great time to be had by one and all. The reason that you will enjoy yourself is our club members. Members such as H Richard who have not missed a match , on the workers side, and before he retired he and many others took vacation time to work for free and the betterment of our hobby. H Richard for the many years that we have been friends has been a tireless organizer, worker and a behind the scenes type of guy that has done everything in his power to enhance the shooting sports and currently is actively raising funds for our local high school rifle team who saw it's funding disappear.

I'll be there as well, with my wife and daughter. It's as much of a family vacation as it is a match by now. Guess I'd better start practicing. See you all there.

Thanks to H Richard

Howdy,
I got to meet H Richard and need to tell him thanks.
The work these people put in at the Masters is appreciated. They get a t-shirt and a hat out of the deal and many like H Richard have done it for year after year.
Congratulation to Doug Koenig. He wins it again and makes it look easy.
I shot rather poorly and dropped in all three phases of the match compared to last year. I made it look as hard as Doug made it look easy.
That might have been to my "I don't have to practice to shoot this poor" attitude after last years match. Maybe I do need to practice ?
Fun none the less.
Thanks again and nice meeting you H Richard and I hope to see you at XXVI
Anyone interested in shooting the 2011 Masters is welcome to sign up as my "Bring a Buddy" buddy and get half off entry fees if you have not shot the Masters before.
I'll help and advise you what I can. Just remember, I am a guy who just about knocked himself out this year with "Scope eye" shooting the long range event. (I will advise you not to let your long range gun hit you in the head in recoil)
I wont do that again. I'll grow longer arms if I have to.
Any way,it would be nice to see new blood (Not mine) at the Masters and if I can help anyone wanting to go, just PM me or shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] .
It is a fun match in a nice part of the country.
Lots of shopping for the girls in Quincy and Hannibal.
Girls are welcome to shoot too. Youth? Them too.
If you would just come by to watch then Sat morning, for the top 16 and Local hero shoot off, is the time to be there. You will see everything they do, long range, precision and action and the best shooters doing it.
Hope to see you there next year.

Mike
