Only my second trip to the land of big steel, but decided that I'd rather swap revolvers and use what's normal for me. So no DW .357 Super Mag this month. Instead, a 29-3 10 5/8" barreled .44 Mag. with the adjustable front sight.

Had some rough zeroes for everything except Turkeys at 150m, but guessed pretty close and was well on by the second bank.

Best run:

Nine Pigs!

Breeze picked up and bullets danced all around the first bank of Rams, but got all but one on the second bank. Should have waited out the wind just a little more!

But those Freedom Arms guys are going to be tough competition!

Western Pa. used to be a hotbed of IHMSA matches back in the day....I still have my T/C Contender but haven't used it in years. I miss the good times!

Burrell Twp. Rod and Gun Club apparently had non-sanctioned matches as recently as a couple of years ago. Sounds like the IHMSA range is still there, just needs revitalizing.

I'll have to look into that! I shot at Burrell Twp many times....we always camped there for the state/regional matches. Shot at Keystone, Jackson Center, Bellwood, Heidelberg, Hancock and was the match director at Greater Pittsburgh for quite a few years
