Maybe the Mayor will require newspapers or churches to demonstrate a "need" before they are allowed a 1st Amendment permit .

This is more of the old "lipstick on a pig" thing. NYC's gun licensing scheme is total crap and for them to try and put a positive spin on it is absolutely ludicrous.

The "live on the dole, government will take care of me" crowd, and those who seek to control their votes, make up the majority of the voters in NYC and the rest of the state. Let's put it this way, there's one reason and one reason only Obama was elected.
