Md 686-4 3 inch question and Value help needed

I ran across a very nice Md 686-4 with a 3 inch barrel today. I think it is a product code(104265) full length extractor and a full black front ramp. The SCSW shows that 2500 were made around 1994. It is in excellent condition but no box or papers. Does anyone have one of these? What is a fair price these days?

I have one of them; it is a very good revolver that is quite rare. Some say that the -4 version is arguably the best iteration of the 686 series. I'd say the current market price is between $650-800. I don't think I would sell mine for the upper end of this range (even without the factory combats which I added); they're that good.

I have one as well. It is the one on top in the picture. I do not have the original box, but like P35fan said, I would not sell it for $ 800.
