Just lucky. We both have had it bad with others in our past lives, and appriciate each other. She takes good care of me and does absolutely all the work. We been married only 5 1/2 years. She is 17 years younger. Thank you!

Duster, I see from the picture you are on the Viale range at Camp Perry. I assuming you are also at the John Garand Match?

I made the first five and have not been able to go back since. I had a tremendous time every visit and would recommend that anyone who has not yet attended the National Matches, put that on your "Bucket List".

Nice look'n M1 too!

I'm a little older than you and was in the "Brown Shoe" Army...pre sixties...and did Basic Training with the M1.

I won't make it to Camp Perry this year.I shot in the Garand and Springfield Match and also the Rumbold.
The M1 in the pic is one of my IHC's.Very accurate.

I did my Basic Training with the M14 at Fort Polk.

Red 14, Daughter is doing fine. Going to marry a nice fellow she has been going with about a year. He had just got back from iraq two tours when she met him. Daughter has several jobs, going to school and meets herself comeing, besides raising two daughters. Thanks a lot!

Yeah...I get that a lot.

Nah! He ain't that bad. He's about as broad as he is tall.

The guy on the bottom is the one you gotta watch out for. He may not look it, but if I was going to a bar fight, he's the one I would take with me! A natural born thumper is what he is! He's actually THE Sheriff at our neighboring county. He only works at my agency (college campus police) part time on the weekends.
