I'm making the jump to revolver next year in USPSA. I was able to snag a 627 PC today..

Nice . How do those grips feel ? Also I wonder who makes them for S&W ?

The M625 .45ACP is/was my first love, but a year or two ago I got a M627 and haven't shot the .45 much since.

Plan to use .38 Spec? Or one of the .38 Colt cases? (Short, Long, or the "new" Mid length)

I went with the Short Colt and have been quite happy. If it weren't for the trouble of cutting the .38 Long (or Spec) to "Mid Colt" length (.9"), I would probably opt for that.

Right now I'm sticking with .38 Special...it's what I know. Perhaps in the future, I will try Short Colt.
