So far I have had the pleasure of meeting a few members.

A few weeks ago I met mbliss57 when he came to Spokane for a visit and we went to an outdoor range close to my house.

This past Friday I met hkcavalier at the range up near my lake property for a day of shooting old iron. We both brought along several in the 60-100 year old age bracket and spent a couple of hours admiring and shooting them.

Great time and a real pleasure meeting yet another fine member of our community. We'll do it again sometime soon.

That's why I like going to the various "Bunch" meetings, so I can start putting faces to the screen names. And of course I have to leave a few calling cards. Somebody always trades for the Golden Dollars I use to pay for my admission.

I have met many of the members here through the SWCA and Historical foundation. If you have a chance, check out their membership page!

I have met several forum members for trades & shows. So far, all have been great guys & gals.

You can make many friends on the Forum. I've had the pleasure of meeting, and going shooting with a few over the years, one in Switzerland.
If you are traveling, look up some of the fellow members at where you are traveling, and try for a get together. Good times.

I live in Pueblo, Colorado, and have had the pleasure of meeting with a couple of forum members in Albuquerque, New Mexico a couple of times.

Couple of years ago I needed a driver for a VA hospital visit in Denver, and a forum member stepped up to help me out.

Several forum members have my personal e-mail address and we correspond regularly.

In one case (Old Bear) I was able to re-establish a friendship from the mid-1970's when we were both young cops on the same department, although we both went separate ways for decades afterward.

Lots of good folks around here!

I’ve met a few members in person also. I was hoping to get several of us Florida members together for the big January Lakeland Gun show, but there only ended up being four of us including one who came from out of state. It was still fun, though. Hopefully sometime in the future after COVID-19 is in the past, we can try it again.

I’ve met maybe 2 dozen members over the years. All great folks in their own way. In the distant past, The “Big Lakeland Show” drew folks from all over Florida and beyond. I’ve met 3 this year alone although the future is uncertain. Joe

I have yet to meet any members face to face, that I know of... but I also look forward to a future when it will be possible to do so... will see you soon - hopefully

We were honored to host Kiwi Cop and his lovely wife when they were in the States. They are good people and we really enjoyed having them for a brief visit.

It might be fun to meet other members a little closer to home, as well.

There are a bunch of great people on this forum. Started the NE Ohio Bunch abt 10-11 years ago and we are having a good time. We usually meet 2 times a year. Have been a lot of forum members and SWCA members come to the event. Get 35-70 people a meeting. If you want to start a group I can help you get started. 2 or more people would be easier.

mbliss57 is a regular at the Bunch. Larry

I remember that about 5 years ago, there was a get-together for Forum members slated to take place in upper NYS. Sadly, there seemed to be no follow-up on the Forum as to how it went. Would have been interesting to hear...

There was a bit about it here at the lounge after. Hillybilly77 held it at his place.

If I remember correctly 5 of us attended. Met very good people there. It was on August of 2014.
Where’s RobO?
Or was it GMac that had a meet in Rochester/Syracuse with BlackAgnes and a few others?
