Back in the mid 70's and in the 80's I cast my pistol/revolver bullets for reloading. My young daughter would come in and ask "What you doing"? I would reply, "Melting bullets". She ask why was I melting them when I just made them, I told her, these are my rejects and I'm making more. Several times she would come to see what I was doing and I would say "Melting bullets".
When she went, with my Mother In Law, for a interview for kindergarten, they would ask my daughter questions, like tell us something that flies. She would think what she would say for a few seconds before answering. Her answer was butterflies. They ask, tell us something that floats and her answer was ducks.
This went on for a few more questions, until they ask, "Tell us something that melts"? Without hesitation, she said "Bullets"
The people that was asking the questions, looked at each other, and my Mother In Law explained the situation and why she gave that answer.
Anyway, she passed.
