thread is posting

so after several days of hospital testing, scans, brain checks and blood work. had a brain bleed, PROBABLY from hitting my head during the fall, MAYBE - MAYBE A STROKE!!!! the heart dr. his staff and test conclusions couldn't explain to me what happened to me from the tests and knowledge/ exams of the hosiptal. when leaveing the hospital, heart dr. had these suggestions, since I passed out/ falling backwards down the steps 3 yrs. ago, when I bent over putting on a door wipe on the door to the den, cancer in the stomach caused the blood flow not to go to the brain. a stomach scan found the cancer. go to my C dr. and ask him to review my test results, see a heart dr, magnesenium low/ might have caused blackout or can cause seizures. so the info/ input i'm requesting from our vast member group, has anyone ever heard/ know of an occurrence that I have written about. I know I can trust the info on the threads about peoples health inputs, I have read many. I release anyone, if needed on what is related to me. OH YEA!! HEART IS STILL CLEAR/ STRONG. JAN 11 2018- 3 years cancer free. still feel like ****, womens guy friend, which lives about 50 miles from us was shoveling my sidewalk yesterday morning, thanked BOBBY, ex state police officier. wife caught me comeing back in w/ a scraper, WHERE WAS YOU? when I told her I was cleaning the suv's windows, she just shook her head. told her I might of had a stroke, they didn't say I couldn't do anthing. everyone enjoy your week with the family. winter seems to keep us indoors. it was 10 degs. this morning, when I went out to put the garbage can back, the wind/ air felt cold. take care. rich in the BURGH.

I had a similar experience in a store 2 year ago. I passed out cold in a store and they called the EMs who insisted I go to the hospital and get checked out. It was a good thing this happened in public as it turned out I had a bacterial blood infection which they treated with antibiotics. I was told if I had been at home and just crawled into bed I probably would not have awakened again.
Hope this turns out ok for you.
Jim

happened this AM to Me. Got up, washed up, went into the kitchen, took My insulin and checked My blood sugar, 100. Went into the living room and got dressed to take the dog out for Her walk. Started feeling dizzy and was seeing black spots so I ate a fudge brownie and went to sit on the couch. Never made it. Woke up an hour later and checked My blood sugar again. 47. Hope Your Dr checked for diabetes.

So many medical reports state that magnesium is one of the very top minerals most needed for the body to stay healthy. As we get older quite often our magnesium levels are way to low.

FIL had symptoms like yours, every few months over the course of several years. Much testing and diagnosis was "venous insufficiency". They recommended surgery, but he died of other causes.

Get well soon!! :)

3 years ago I just dropped dead... if my wife had not been standing next to me I would not have lived... heart stopped... not a heart attack... not a stroke... not a blood clot... not a seizure... ended up a combination of new meds & activity... they called it a sudden cardiac event... have them check your med list for combination conflicts... the cocktail can mean trouble..

want to thank everyone who shared their experences. i know it is hard to share a personnel occurence. today thinking back, don't remember 85% after the pass out, getting to the hosiptal, maybe the 1st. 4 hours in the hosiptal. also want to thank everyone for their prayers and good wishes. DIABETES was checked -OK... blood infection have to recheck/ was told blood work was good/ clear.... Magnesium level was good...going to check a few more things. i'll keep an update when i/ they find anything. when a dr. wasn't sure how to explain a mark on my brain. SUGGESTED we call it a shadow, he liked the shadow term. surprised me i got off the floor again, crawed to the couch, and told my wife not to call the ems. everyone please take care.

FWIW, the last couple of times I had my BP checked it was unusually low. 108/71, 117/73. I have noticed that if I bend over and then straighten up quickly I get really light headed. At Church the other day I bent over to straighten the corner of an anti-slip mat on the floor the the other day and when I stood up I came so close to passing out that my vision went dark. I had to sit down to keep from falling down. Could you have low blood pressure?

Same thing happened to me last year. Passed out, fell backwards. My daughter heard me hit the floor & came running. Emergency tests told them I had blocked Coronary artery so had 3 stents installed in Aug. then in Sept had a mild heart attack. Had a Pacemaker put in, feel pretty good now. Counting my blessings.
