I asked for a thumb break and they added it no charge. I had ordered it a month ago for my new 2020 Python. I had been looking for holsters for my new 19 Classic when this arrived today. Threw the 19 in and it fits really well.

I've had the one for my 627 (no thumb break).

I'm happy with them.

Several years back I ordered a flower carved holster for a M66. Mernickel still owned the company then and I ordered it made while at the Reno Gun show where he had a few tables. He guaranteed I did not need a thumb stap, well long story short, I had to go to the local saddle maker and have him put one on. The revolver would fall out of the holster when turned upside down. Quality was fantastic, just wouldn't hold the revolver tight.

I have Mernickle Holsters for 3.5", 4.25" and 5" 1911s. Bob makes a good and unique product that works well.

Have several of the Mernickle Performance Series rigs for revolvers and autos and really use the one rig for my Mountain Revolver the most.

I have 2 of his holsters also-about one of the few that make nice designed holster for single actions.
