Well, my wife got the covid a couple days ago. So far I'm good, but at least we don't have to do the Christmas party with her siblings. She's not "real bad", but kinda miserable. I have a couple errands to run but that'll be it. I hate those masks. I'm not sick (physically) but I think I'm supposed to stay away from people too. Oh well, hope yinz all have a healthy Christmas!

Amazing what a QB who knows what time of day it is can bring out the potential of a great wide receiver! Now I can understand why Pickens was acting like a jerk. Albeit very unprofessional, he has a legitimate gripe.
Merry Christmas! Oh, since we have to stay home I put my ugly sweater on. The picture is lousy but so is she right now.

Missus Smiff got it.....

...then I got it. We got our shots last year and she had a bad reaction to the second one, so we only got our flu shots this year. Well, as soon as I'm sure I'm over it, I'm going to get the shot. It's just not worth it even for a 'mild' case.

Hope your missus recovers quickly, Jeffrefrig, and that if you catch it, too, that it will be mild.

Merry Christmas!

I've been lucky. Had all shots + boosters for COVID (and flu) and only had a reaction to a Moderna booster, which I was warned was stronger. No symptoms for anything so far. Got RSV and shingles this year as well, but only a predictable and tolerable reaction for shingles, so no worries.

Guess this will be "the new normal", but OK by me. Neighbour up the road is an Emerg. nurse at the local hospital so I've got reports straight from the trenches when the pandemic was at its height. "Necessary" or not, I'm not taking any chances, even at a pretty healthy and youthful 71 :)

My brother is enjoying his "Covid Quarantine Christmas" in Cincinnati (lookout Rusty) and frozen pizza. Hope ya'll are recovered quickly.

I was supposed to have lunch tomorrow with my younger son and DIL. They got to feeling kinda puny a couple of days ago and a home test came up positive for Covid.
Older son had foot surgery last week and he just wants to be left alone tomorrow.
Looks like this old man will be spending Christmas alone.
Ya know what? I'm fine with that. ;)
