Metal Mania For Me 😁

Is the safety lever plastic or metal? The 10mm M&P has a plastic one, and it bothers me somehow. Lots of casting flash on it when it arrived.

Have you check to see if everything inside is metal for the safety. Mione have plastic over metal for the exterior lever !

Hhenry Whats your perception of accurate and at what yardage ?

I'm currently shooting at an indoor range. Normally, I spend the majority of my time with my beloved Performance Center Shield 2.0 in 9mm. When I do shoot the Metal, at 7 yards (not very far) it's capable of hole for hole accuracy, that is, whenever I am! I like the Metal a lot!! But nothing in my limited arsenal shoots as well as my Shield!!

I saw that video when it first came out, however, it's now longer available. Jerry did mention one or two things he didn't like about it. If I recall correctly, he said he would change the trigger out. LOL.

I wonder what the likelihood of the adhesive holding on that front polymer strap wearing out, and it starting to peel off.

maybe with time you'll expand your ability with other handguns ! I'm not sure I've ever shot for accuracy at 7 yards . Occasional close retention practice from arms reach to 7 yards .
I've been lucky to have a at home handgun range out to 40 yards for defensive practice since '80 . Good luck with your shooting skills.

As to the accuracy questions I personally take these opinions with caution. Pistols are challenging to shoot well and for most people take lots of practice. I'm not suggesting that the reports from individuals is not accurate only that their results might not be the same for others.

I have been shooting most of my life and am fairly good but certainly not an expert. As to the 2.0 Metal I shoot it as well or better than my other pistols. I like a good trigger and have Apex in a few of my other M&P's but the new trigger is very good and I will not be replacing it. As far as I can tell it hits where pointed as most guns do. For those weighing a purchase I would not decide based on "accuracy" but rather if it feels good to your hand and eye. It will perform well. JMHO.
