Miami Airport Motel

Need to spend a night close to Miami (MIA) Airport. Never been in the area. Need clean, safe, good bed. Reasonable rates a plus.
Appreciate the good info I get on the forum.

Blue Lagoon area is mostly business park, Miami Springs to the north almost has a small town feel, to the west is light industrial and Little Havana is to the east. For one night I'd stay at the inn on the airport grounds. Can't recall the name, it's been a few years since I used MIA.

The Miami International Airport Hotel is inside the airport. I used it the last time I had an international flight from MIA. Can't get more convenient than that. Walk to your terminal. Best wishes!

The Embassy Suites might have space, if the Airport Hotel is full.

I would stay at the airport, myself.
Just be careful if you decide to venture outside for a place.
Don't go for the cheapest, there are some "sketchy" places close to the airport where some people like to target travelers.
I remember a LaQuinta on the main road that runs along the north side of the airport, close to the Palmetto Expressway.
Clean, safe and close to the terminal( 10 min. Max)but don't know the rates.
Try asking the flight crews and attendants where they stay. Their employers seek the same things you do.
