Midrange 44mag loads

My 3" 629 likes 240 SWC over 7.5 Unique. 828 fps

I also use a lot of 5gr of Titegroup for plinking 675 fps. Everyone who shoots it likes this load, No kick no blast.

6gr of Titegroup for 875 is a pretty good do all load.

If I want it to kick a bit, 11gr of Unique gets me 1100 but I don't shoot many of those.

The most I can get out of this is 1300 with 240 SJSP over 24.2 H-110. The blast is INCREDIBLE!
Must be!!!

I have used unique, green dot, and vihvatouri 3N37 ( pretty sure I jacked that spelling up). Can't remember charge weights but all were plenty accurate. 3N37 was actually faster and more accurate for me, and it went through the powder measure like a dream.

19 grains of Univeral Clays with any 240 gr lead SWC has been very good for me. I use large pistol primers, NOT magnum primers. Groups about 1" at 50 yards, and has moderate recoil.

Don't do this! This is way, way over max. I doubt you could even get that much clays into a case.

A quick simulation in QuickLOAD shows you are right on all counts.
It's nearly a 130% case fill and if it could be done would lead to somewhere around 120KPSI!
That's nearly 3.5 times the maximum pressure for a 44 magnum and 2x any round I know of.
That has to be a typo.
