A few days ago I received a notification that Midway again had factory 5906 magazines available. They were $36.99, (up from $34.99,) so of course I placed an order. It turned out that it was limited to 2 per order so I just got two.
I thought I was good on 5906 magazines until I decided I wanted 3 5906 magazines w/PGS Grip + 2 adapters for each of my compacts. (Resale/value ?) I had already committed some to that task but that left a shortage. Same for 4006 magazines. I should have listened to Sevens a few ago when I gave away here a NIP 4006 mag that I had no use for. He said “get a 4006” but I had no interest, (then,) in .40 cal. Now I’m actively looking for more.
I really liked Midway way back, then I wouldn’t deal with them but now they’re squared away and a great asset.
Mecgar magazines are perfect but they do not accept the +2 PGS adaptors.
