Another worthless cartridge was the bizarre .45 Gap, with both Large and Small primers, now the guy who invented that and those was clearly spaced out on high end drugs.

There's been a few other cartridges of comparable worthlessness.

I throw the small primer .45 away. I've got two drums of .45 brass and it is not worth the hassle.

I have a couple older 38-40 cases with spp pockets. Found them the hard way when reloading for my 92 Winchester. Have never seen any in 44 Mag but I do have a small stash of 45 ACP spp brass that I keep aside for the lean times.

I'd be fine if they were all small primers. It would simplify logistics. Large Pistol primers are more expensive. With small you could also use small rile primers. Reloaders may hate it but they don't care about us. They are selling loaded ammo. We're the competition, in a way.

The only thing I have to use large primers for is .41 Magnum.

I keep the small primer 45acp in case I can't get large primers I can still shoot my 1911
