I prefer pocket carry, had used some of the better known holster brands previously, and then I came across Mika Holsters. I read their positive reviews and the prices were, more than, reasonable, so I figured I’d give them a shot (no pun intended). They are now hands down my go to favorite and only holster. I have a Smith and Wesson Shield, a Ruger LC9S Pro and a Sig Sauer P365, each one with a Mika Pocket Holster that fits like a glove. They are well constructed and perfect for pocket carry. They fit their respective weapons well, closely cover the trigger guard so the chance of you accidentally placing your finger in the trigger guard is as close to nil as posible, do not print, and even if they did, it would look like something other than a handgun or handgun holster. They also have the unusual characteristic of once the firearm is drawn, you can actually place it back in the holster without removing the holster from your pocket. All this at a, more than, reasonable price, both absolutely and comparatively. I can say unequivocally that their pocket holsters do everything you could ask of them and then some. I would give them an unqualified 10. I know they make other style holsters as well, and I’m confident they do so with the same dedication to quality that they display on their pocket holsters, although i cannot attezt to that personally.

I've carried a 642 in a Mika pocket holster pretty much so daily since 2004. Enough said.

I use a Mika every day carrying my M438. Tried an ankle and a belly band and found the Mika was the best holster for me.

How long did it take from order to delivery? I have one for my J frame and was thinking of ordering another but dont feel like waiting 3 months

12 years plus with one in my pocket, every day. Love love them. I don't like that they've gotten so popular that you have to wait that long but good for Robert!
I have one for my 642, and one for my Bersa Thunder 380cc. Great pocket holsters.
I've carried first an early Model 60 with a bobbed hammer, then a Model 642, in a Mika longer than I can remember. I wore one out, and in another ten or so years, God willing, will probably have to replace my current one.

I have never thought of carrying my Shield in my pocket. I like the idea though. Please show some pictures. Using one for the Shield or Model 642 might be just the ticket.

Does he still put your name on the inside? I always thought that was a nice touch. I have a couple of them from when I used to pocket carry Airweights-- one square bottom, one round.

I have Mika holsters for my 642 and LCP. I like them better than any of the other pocket holsters I've tried.
The thing I like the best is that I can easily pull the loaded pistol out of my pocket while still holstered, for example at the end of the day, but when I practice drawing from my pocket for dry fire, I've never had the holster come out of my pocket with my pistol.

I bought another brand of pocket holster for my Bersa Thunder 380CC. Why? I don't know, really. Anyway, it dawned on me that the Mika holster my 642 rides in is as perfect as a pocket holster can be. So, I ordered one.

I've tried them all. I found the Mika to be much too bulky, but it is durable. It didn't stay in the pocket always when drawing the gun. It does hold its shape. Uncle Mike's was too flimsy, but stayed in place. I really liked the DeSantis Nemesis until I was enlightened about the existence of the Blackhawk TechGrip. To me the Blackhawk is the winner!
