mild .357 loads using fast-burning powders?

Bullseye has been known to spike in light loads, possibly due to its high nitroglycerine content. I've used it under soft, swaged wadcutters in .38 Special, but never in .357 Magnum cases, never below minimum specifications, and never with jacketed bullets for that reason.

Unique is less prone to pressure spikes, suitable for "soft" loads for .38 and .357 rounds. Any load around 900 fps or less will produce light recoil in a 686. Like muzzle energy, recoil increases with the square of velocity.

I have developed a 38+p load using AA#2 that I shoot from my 686s and my M60 , LCR 38+P. The velocities are good and the felt recoil is a lot less. Check out the Accurate web site for load data for 38, 38+p and 357 loads
