I've been looking for a reproduction Mills Cartridge Belt for 45-70, 45 Colt (might be the same 45-70 belt??), and 12 gauge. So far, I've been able to identify belts whose canvas cartridge loops are stitched to its canvas belt. I have not found any reproduction belt whose cartridge loops are woven/wound into the belt.
Yes, I understand that loops woven/wound into the belt causes a substantial hike in cost. And, I would probably buy two belts, three if the substantial hike in cost is not as substantial as I fear. I request help to find a source for these late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century cartridge belts.
